After School Sailing is fun!

Now in its 6th year the Club's After School Sailing sessions for children attending the village school are once again proving a fantastic success.
Since the Club initiated these sessions in co-operation with the school in 2018 dozens of local children have been able to experience the joy of setting sail from the beautiful Snowhill Creek we call home - and for many of them, it's their first time out on the water. This is all thanks to the support from the school and Parish Council and, of course, the provision by WWSC of subsidised instructors and dinghies. Over the past 6 years we've run 39 sessions each of which has seen on average 10 juniors take to the water. As you can see from the pictures, that equates to loads of fun.
There's one more of these events this year and already we have 7 children booked. This last opportunity is on 3 afternoons after school on 26 to 28 June. If your child could benefit and attends the village school do contact the headmaster for information or email the Club. We provide the boats and fully qualified instructors, and the Parish Council has funded personal buoyancy aids. We charge just £15 per session.
