Junior Race Series 2026
The Junior Race Series will run from Tuesday 27 May to Friday 30 May and is designed for experienced junior sailors who want to further develop their racing skills through structured coaching and on-the-water racing.
Bookings open here at 9.00am on Saturday 21st of March.
What to Expect
Junior Race Series offers a focused week of race coaching and coached racing, giving sailors the opportunity to improve technique, tactics and confidence on the racecourse.
The programme is open to sailors racing in:
- Optimists (Oppies)
- Toppers
- Lasers
- RS Fevas
Sessions are designed to be challenging, supportive and enjoyable, helping sailors build experience while racing as part of a fleet.
Who is it for?
The Junior Race Series is suitable for:
- Sailors who are keen to start racing and are confident sailing independently
- Sailors who are already racing and would like to further develop their skills
- Junior sailors looking to improve their race technique, tactics and confidence in a structured coaching environment
Parental Involvement
Junior racing relies on the support of parent volunteers.
- Parents are asked to join the Junior Racers 2026 WhatsApp group
- Volunteers are required for rescue boat cover and other duties throughout the week
