Junior Week 2022

Just a reminder: Junior Week is not suitable for beginners - to take part you must already be able to rig your boat, launch it and sail to East Head and back unaided in moderate conditions. If in doubt, please email Jen Watkins at JuniorsTeam.WWSC@outlook.com.
Junior week will run from 10 to 18 August split into two parts, as last year, so as to allow us to accommodate more juniors.
Part 1
Part 1 (from 10 to 13 August) will be for younger sailors in Optimists/SailQubes. Tickets £140 per person or £188 in Club dinghy.
Part 2
Part 2 (from 15 to 18 August) will be for Toppers, Lasers and double handed boats (Fevas, Zests or Picos). Tickets £140 per person or £188 (Club singlehander). A double ticket for 2 friends sharing a boat costs £280 (own boat) or £340 (in a Club double-hander).
Family Regatta at midpoint
We will be running a Family Regatta with friendly competition for all WWSC sailors in dinghies, kayaks, paddleboards and swimming on the Sunday between Parts 1 & 2. The Family Regatta is open to all members in the Club (not just those doing Junior Week) and is free.
Social Events
There will be a programme of evening social events throughout junior week.
WhatsApp Groups
Two Junior Week WhatsApp Groups have been set up (Part 1 & Part 2) to allow you to stay up to date. You'll find the invitation link to join here.
