Junior Week 2026
We're delighted to announce that Junior Week 2026 will run from Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 August, bringing together our Junior and Youth sailors for a fun, varied and action-packed week on the water. Junior Week is one of the highlights of the WWSC calendar, offering a mix of racing, supported sailing and fun on-the-water activities, with something for sailors of different interests and experience levels.
Dates: 25th 29th August 2026. Bookings Open at 9.00am on Saturday 21 March! Make sure to book early spaces fill up fast!
What's in store?
Racing: For sailors who enjoy racing, Junior Week will include:
- Optimist (Oppie) Race Series for our younger sailors
- Youth Race Series for Toppers, Lasers and RS Fevas
- Racing is supported by coaching and is designed to be challenging, supportive and fun.
Fun for Non-Racers and inexperience sailors!
- Treasure (sweet!) hunt around the harbour
- Strings of Pearls challenge
- Tag and other exciting sailing adventures
- Mini Olympics!
Destination Sails Fun sailing expeditions for all to explore our beautiful harbour
Parents, we need you too. Junior Week relies on volunteers, so please sign up via the online Club roster to help make this event possible.
We can't wait to see you all on the water for an amazing week of sailing and fun!
Social Events
The fun continues off the water! There will be a programme of evening social events throughout Junior Week, more details to follow.
