RYA Courses for Juniors (available for members only)

WWSC is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Accredited Training Centre, offering courses based on the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme.

Due to tide restrictions and weather conditions, it's not unusual for juniors to take more than three days to demonstrate they have completed all the elements needed to complete a particular RYA Stage.

This year, we will be running two RYA Youth Courses as part of our Junior Programme.

RYA Youth Training Course Dates 2026:

RYA Training A (3-day course from 1st to 3rd August)

Covers RYA Stages 1 and 2 only. (Boats: SailQubes, Optimists)

RYA Training B (3-day course from 12th to 14th August)

Covers RYA Stages 1 through 4. (Boats: SailQubes, Optimists, Toppers and Fava's)

Please Note: For RYA 4 bookings must be as a crewing team. Please do not book unless you already have a crew partner identified. Details of both crew members will need to be entered at point of booking.

Bookings Open at 9am on Saturday the 21st of March! To book click on the course names above once bookings open. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
