Come and swim for Bowel Cancer UK

The Hall family would like to invite all West Wittering Sailing Club members, along with their families and friends, to take part in our charity swim at 07.45am on Sunday 10th July 2022 at West Wittering beach.

The swim is all in aid of Bowel Cancer UK, as Victoria Hall (32), has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer. Victoria sailed as a junior member at WWSC for many years and more recently has been seen at Regatta week crewing for Valerie in her Laser 2K "Upbeat". Sadly, she is unable to make sailing this year, as she undergoes her third attempt of intense chemotherapy to stop the spread of this awful disease.

Victoria is going through the unimaginable but is battling her illness with immense tenacity and courage. Despite undergoing treatment, she is doing a tremendous job at spreading awareness and organising fundraising events for bowel cancer to help as many people as she can. So we are organising the Big Bathe for Bowel Cancer to raise awareness, funds and have fun!

Bowel Cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer and is increasingly being diagnosed at an advanced stage at a young age.
