Rookies Race for inexperienced helms

This season we are introducing two Rookie Race events for helms and crew with little or no experience of racing. The races will be short, simple courses designed to give inexperienced sailors the chance to try racing and hopefully gain the confidence to participate in regular club racing. David and Kate Law (All Black, Wayfarer) are keen to encourage other less experienced sailors to join them in these Rookie Races, so do get in touch if you have any questions. We plan to have patrol boats on close hand to offer help and advice in what is purposefully intended to be an introduction to racing for those who haven't previously helmed or crewed a race.
