Regatta Week Points

Regatta Week 2026 will stick to our well-tried formula of racing every day with social events on most evenings and a Prize Giving tea at the end and runs from Monday to Friday when the Harbour is less busy. If anyone has queries please email the WWSC Sailing Team.

The Racing

Races will be open to all boats in Classes 1 and 2 with competent juniors in Toppers and faster boats encouraged to take part. Sailors should only set sail if their abilities match the conditions on the day with parents confirming this by signing the race entry forms for children under 18.

Courses will tend to be somewhat longer and when possible will take the fleet to less familiar parts of the Harbour to exploit the opportunity to do this when it's less busy. It's possible race officials may decide to run more than one race per day if we lose a day due to weather.
