2022 Late Sprints
Our "Sprints" Race Series offer members a different type of race. On each tide we will run 3 very short races (20 minutes max) in a single fleet around a specially created triangular course. The aim is to allow sailors to improve their starting and mark rounding techniques.
We want to encourage all racers whether from Class 1 or 2 to try these out and will make sure our Start lines are long enough to prevent any jostling. We also hope that our more competent Topper sailors from the Oppie & Topper Club sessions being run in parallel may join in.
Our Sailing Instructions provide more information on how we run our races and include a full description of the Triangle-Sausage-Triangle courses we use in these types of race.
