Boats Down postponed (updated 27/3/2020)

[Revised 27 March 2020]
The photo above was taken on March 14th when lots of members turned out to support the Beach Working Party. Just 10 days later and the fast-moving tightening of coronavirus restrictions mean this type of gathering is no longer possible. Please click here for the full advice issued by the Commodore reflecting the new Government rules.
The Government has now ordered that none of us should leave our homes, other than to work, buy essential supplies or to take exercise once each day. On 27 March the Harbour Conservancy issued a Notice clarifying that "recreational boating" is not permitted under these restrictions.
In consequence there is now no reason for any member to access the Club premises or take their boat down to the Hard or to the Club car park. For the time being therefore all our facilities should be regarded as "closed" and "Boats Down" day will be re-scheduled once the coronavirus restrictions are relaxed.
Also, please be aware that due to an error by our printer the car park tickets sent out with your 2020 Membership packs are labelled 2019 instead of 2020. These have now been reprinted and we are making arrangements for you to sw ap the incorrect ticket for the right one at the Club House. In the meantime the ticket sent to you will be valid.
