    On the World Stage: WWSC Juniors Head to 420 Worlds

    We're very excited to share that a number of our older junior sailors and instructors have been putting in serious hours on the water over the winter season, travelling to inland venues for qualifying events alongside competing at the Youth Nationals at Hayling Island Sailing Club. Following a strong run of results, Apolline Depaepe, Lilly Cox, Layla Shaer and Hugo Tyers have now qualified to represent their fleets at the 420 World Championships, taking place

  • Regatta Week & Junior Week 2026

    Regatta Week & Junior Week 2026 Dates have now been set for 2026 Regatta Week: Mon 27th July Fri 31st July Junior Week: Tue 25th Aug Sat 29th Aug We recognise that one school will have returned for the autumn term before the completion of Junior week. A number of our Juniors and younger instructors enjoy visiting other harbour clubs and participating in their Junior race weeks.

    Emsmet - New Weather Station for Chichester Harbour

    For 2025 a new weather station 'Emsmet' will join 'Cambermet' and 'Chimet' in assisting our boating community here in Chichester Harbour. The Federation is proud to have helped fund this new aid for harbour users. The station instruments will be installed on the 'Emsworth' south cardinal by the Conservancy's 'marine team'.     The Big Bathe: £50,000 and counting...

    Lots of WWSC members supported this year's "Big Bathe" last weekend in memory of Victoria Hall. Even more swimmers took part this year and they've already raised over £50,000 for the two charities: Bowel Cancer UK and St Wilfrid's Hospice.
