Hello and welcome.
WWSC is a fun orientated village club where the social events are often better supported than the sailing events.
Membership stands at about 500 including children, and amazingly no onshore facilities other than a small wooden storage hut together with a car park.
On the water, however, we do have a new 20ft dory kitted out as a committee boat plus a rib as our main patrol boat. All duty officers are member volunteers and without them the club could not function.
Sailing races are handicap or pursuit style due to the large variety of boats. Several events during the summer holiday period are organised specifically for our Juniors. Races used to start from East Head, however, due to the increasing congestion at the anchorage for health and safety reasons all handicap races start from the Committee Boat in the harbour.
On the social side WWSC do love their BBQ's. Other social events include a fitting out party, golf day and tennis tournament.
We count ourselves very lucky to be able to sail out of Snowhill Creek and to be part of a club where many members contribute to its success.
